Derring-Do Music is a boutique production studio providing a wide range of music services including engineering, mixing, production, composing and sound design.

The art and science of beautiful audio is my passion. To this end, I’ve motivated myself to develop the creative, technical, and personal skills needed to work within a variety of musical environments and deliver excellence in this field. Originally trained in piano and voice, I’ve continued my professional development in performance, recording and production.   I have been a performing musician here in Seattle for the last 12 years, and have recently completed my audio engineering training with Seattle Recording Arts.   I am a certified Pro Tools Operator, though my DAW of choice is still Logic. :)   As you can see from the picture, my training included learning an SSL console, and I am able to work for you either at Orbit Audio or here in my home studio depending on your needs/budget.   As a singer, I have a special fondness for working with vocalists and crafting excellent vocal performances.   Too often vocals (and vocalists) don't get the time and care they deserve, I'm here to fix that problem!
